People of Long Now

Jamie Stantonian is a user experience director, occasional writer, aspiring YouTuber, and multimedia creative who is preoccupied with our long coevolution with information technology. In articles, video essays, and art, he explores this symbiotic relationship from the Paleolithic to the Pyrocene, in an attempt to makse sense of todays still-evolving planetary sense-making systems. In 02023, he trained with the McLuhan Institute to gain a deeper understanding of how media impacts our sensorium in the context of new technologies such as AI. He’s currently co-host of the Long Now London community.
